Community Pride and Involvement
In collaboration with the town’s Parks and Recreation Commission, Rotary Club, Lion’s Club, and other local organizations, PYW assists in the planning of many community events and community service projects including:
 

-  Pittsfield Teens Community Action Team (PTCIA): A group of youth involved in the Pittsfield community.  Including town clean-up and volunteering at the Senior Center

-  Winterfest Activities (in collaboration with the Pittsfield Parks and Recreation Commission): Indoor Rock Climbing at Boulder Morty's, Manchester Monarch's Hockey Game, ice-skating, teen dance, and extra drop-in hours.

-  Old Home Day Activities: youth build a float for parade and run a fundraising event

-  Relay for Life: Fundraises and provides a team every year.

-  Pittsfield Balloon Rally: organize the craft fair, and run a food/craft booth

-  Halloween: Haunted House fundraiser and Halloween teen dance.

-  Christmas: A gingerbread houses decorating contest with a raffling of the houses off at town Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration
